Rhetorical semiotics is the outcome of structural semiotics and the narrative system of semantic studies. This theory connects the production of meaning to sensory and cognitive conditions and dedicates a type of ontology to linguistic production. Rhetorical semiotics is proposed in various emotional, sensory, cognitive, and aesthetic dimensions. Rhetorical semiotics can be an effective method for analyzing literary texts and a foundation for new readings of them. In this research, the infrastructure of the poetic system in Imru' al-Qais's Mu'allaqah was treated using the perspective of discourse semantics, and the discourse of action and tension was analyzed in six stages in the process of creating meaning. The names (of people and places) in Imru' al-Qais's Mu'allaqah were studied using the descriptive-analytical method, based on rhetorical semiotics and the aesthetic dimension. The results of the research show that these names have passed through structural semiotics, which expresses the signifier and the signified, meaning that the same surface appearance of these words has reached rhetorical semiotics. The names of people and places in this poem are actually symbols that lead us to new meanings and emotional and aesthetic dimensions.
