Educational values derive their significance from being the foundational building blocks in shaping an individual's personality, representing a set of principles and behaviors that generations are expected to uphold. These values have prominently emerged in poetic and literary experiences, particularly in addressing children and refining their upbringing. This study aims to analyze educational values in selected samples of Hussein Atiyyah Al-Sultani's poetry, employing the descriptive-analytical method to trace and interpret value-based phenomena within the texts, with the goal of uncovering their educational content and mechanisms of employment. The most prominent educational values in Al-Sultani's poetry included religious values such as monotheism, love for Islam and the Qur'an, knowledge of the Prophet and his household, prayer, alongside social values such as family cohesion, kinship ties, neighborly rights, patriotism, and love for knowledge, teachers, the book, and school. The poet employed multiple mechanisms including repetition and light rhythm, personification, metaphor, sensory imagery, direct affectionate address, cognitive gradation, role-model linking, storytelling, and symbolization, which brought values closer to the child's psyche, facilitated memorization, and left a lasting impact on their consciousness.
