Structural ambiguity is an inherent feature of natural language. This research aims to analyze selected verses and sermons characterized by multiple meanings and readings, employing a theoretical framework based on semantics and modern pragmatics. The central problem lies in the fact that ambiguity in these texts is not a linguistic flaw, but rather a deliberate rhetorical and cognitive tool that imbues the text with semantic richness and intellectual dynamism. The methodology relies on descriptive-analytical analysis, beginning with defining key concepts in modern semantics such as presuppositions, implicit meanings, semantic ambiguity, context, and the principle of cooperation. These analytical tools are then applied to selected examples from the Holy Quran and Nahj al-Balagha, focusing on the grammatical and semantic phenomena that generate structural ambiguity. The findings reveal that this ambiguity was often intentional, serving multiple rhetorical, educational, and intellectual functions. Foremost among these is stimulating the active mind of the recipient and opening up avenues of interpretation, enriching the text and lending it a semantic flexibility suitable for different eras and cultures. In its conclusion, the research emphasizes that utilizing modern semantic-pragmatic approaches can open new horizons in Qur'anic studies and Arabic literature, contributing to the unprecedented unveiling of the aesthetics and intellectual depth of classical language. Furthermore, it offers a precise scientific methodology for understanding the mechanisms that govern the production and interpretation of meaning in classical texts.
