A symbol is one of the most important elements that plays a key role in artistic and meaningful images and reflects the poet's vision of existence. The symbol as a poetic invention plays an important role in the discourse of contemporary poetry. The resistance poets used this expressive tool to explain the issue of occupation, Palestinian disaster and depict the calamities and calamities on the country. In this regard, Ghada Al-Saman, a Syrian poet and Amina al-Adwan, one of the poets of Jordan, like other poets of resistance literature, have addressed many of the phenomena that the Zionist occupiers carried out in their struggle against the resistant people of Palestine in their land, and from the symbol in They have used different meanings and the symbol in their poems is not limited to only one meaning; Rather, two or more meanings are inferred from it. The present research, with a descriptive-analytical method, has investigated the comparison of symbolic images in the poetry of Ghada Al-Saman and Amina Adwan in order to discover new angles of resistance literature in the poems of the two poets.
