Cinema is characterized by numerous auditory features, such as sounds associated with events or the environment, which imitate realistic sounds derived from everyday life, as well as film music accompanying scenes, the basis of which lies in music, melody, and rhythm, thereby enhancing the cinematic sensibility. Given the significant role of sound effects and music in dramatic narration, when they interact with a text fundamentally constructed upon emotion and imagination, they generate a distinctive emotional state in the recipient, placing them before a visual scene as though they were watching and hearing it. This is evident in Music, a poetry collection by Zahran Al-Qasimi, whose poems are permeated with numerous auditory elements, particularly film music, which is represented through certain symbols and signs. This study adopts the descriptive-analytical approach, focusing on the sound shot and film music, that is, the audible background, by examining the interconnection of sound shots throughout Music. Accordingly, the study aims to present various sound sequences in this collection, which is replete with symbolic signs of music. One of the most significant findings of the study is the identification of the interaction between the poetic text, sound effects, and film music, and the extent to which this interaction contributes to producing a distinctive emotional shot for the recipient. The study revolves around three main axes: voice-over, musical interaction, and the extension of the boundaries of vision.
