Pragmatics is a branch of modern linguistics that focuses on the study of language in its real-life usage, exploring how speakers employ language within various contexts to achieve specific communicative purposes. From this framework, the concept of the speech act emerged, a key pillar of pragmatics theory. It was founded by John Austin and developed by John Searle. This concept is based on the premise that utterance is not merely a statement or transmission of information, but rather an act in itself. It attempts to uncover the practical dimension of language in its interaction with the pragmatic context. This research examines the poem "Signatures" by the poet Abdul Razzaq Al-Rubaie in light of John Searle's theory of disclosure, clarification, and the poet's intentions. The research has found that the poem "Signatures" is one of the poems with a distinctive poetic style by the poet Abdul Razzaq Al-Rubaie, which was divided into several sections, each with its own title and text. This poem ranged between isolation, self-expression, loss, fear, searching for the beloved, longing for the old place, and clinging to origins. The functions of speech acts varied according to each poetic section in this poem. The declarative verbs were more present in this poem and varied between the sections, expressing a feeling of coldness towards messages and their change, as they no longer had a special flavor and character that affected him.
