The Holy Qur’an has always been a rich source of wisdom and boundless divine knowledge that Muslim philosophers, scholars, and mystics have extensively explored and elucidated through thorough research and analysis. Among the important Qur’anic topics that Muslim scholars, led by Ibn Arabi, dealt with, is the true dream, so that Surah Yusuf (as) topped the Holy Qur’an with the subject and interpretation of it. Dream occupies an important place in the Qur’an, Sunnah, philosophy, and mysticism, and it is considered part of the prophecy. True vision is the beginning of revelation. Therefore, in this investigation and by following a descriptive analytical approach applied on the dream verses and depending on mystical point of view, we sought to know its origin, which has two dimensions, one existential and the other cognitive, as well as to show its effects in human life. Based on this study, we concluded that the origin of the dream in the Holy Qur’an is mystically related to the world of contiguous and discontigiuous worlds of imagination, with being connected to the station of man and what he perceives from the discontigiuous world of imagination, which is an independent presence in which the truths and spirits are embodied in corporeous forms. In addition to revealing the importance of the true dream in terms of predicting future events, and the station of the vision interpreter.
